Introduction to the Internal Structure of Electric Pallet Trucks

Electric pallet trucks are characterized by their ability to enhance cargo handling efficiency and reduce physical labor intensity. They are widely utilized in workshops, pharmaceutical plants, warehouses, multi-story facilities, narrow aisles, and for long-distance transport operations. Below, we introduce the fundamental structural components of an electric pallet truck:

 

1. Drive Wheel Shock Absorption System: The pressure exerted on the drive wheel fluctuates depending on the weight of the load. This machine's shock absorption system automatically adjusts its damping response according to the cargo's weight - a feature that proves particularly effective when the vehicle is traversing uneven or poor-quality terrain. Furthermore, the system automatically regulates the vehicle's stability during movement.

 

2. Power-Off Braking Function: The brake engages automatically when the control handle is in the upright (vertical) position. To initiate movement, the operator must depress the handle slightly downward; pressing the handle fully down activates the brake. This feature allows operators to execute emergency stops - even on inclines - thereby preventing the vehicle from sliding and significantly reducing the risk of accidents.

 

3. Battery and Charge Indicator: This feature allows operators to conveniently and instantly monitor the remaining battery charge level. It also includes an automatic alarm function that alerts the operator when the battery power is running low.

 

4. Five-Point Support Structure: This unique structural design enhances the vehicle's overall stability, proving particularly effective when operating on slippery surfaces or while ascending and descending ramps.

 

5. Multi-functional Control Handle: Operators can start the vehicle using an electronic key switch integrated into the handle. The handle allows for effortless control of travel speed; to accelerate, the operator simply rotates the acceleration switch located on the handle - the greater the degree of rotation, the faster the vehicle travels.

 

6. Delayed Acceleration Function: If the operator attempts to accelerate directly to the maximum speed, a unique built-in safety feature activates automatically. This function implements a 3-to-8-second delay, allowing the vehicle to transition gradually from low speed to high speed, thereby preventing sudden acceleration that could potentially cause injury to the operator.
