What points should beginners pay attention to when operating an electric pallet truck?

1. After 3 to 7 days of initial use, the front wheel alignment (toe-in/toe-out) must be checked. If the alignment is incorrect, it must be adjusted immediately; otherwise, it will lead to uneven tire wear, premature deterioration, and eventual tire failure.

2. Operators must perform routine maintenance checks both before starting a shift and after parking the vehicle. Additionally, they must check the battery electrolyte level to determine if fluid replenishment is required. Check if the battery terminals are loose; if so, tighten them immediately (loose connections can cause the terminals to overheat and burn out). Inspect the battery connection cables and terminals for signs of corrosion; if corrosion is detected, clean it off immediately (rinsing with boiling water is an effective method).

3. The vehicle has a rated load capacity of 3 tons; when transporting goods, the actual load weight must never exceed this rated capacity.

4. Before starting the vehicle, the operator must ensure that the handbrake (parking brake) has been released (starting the vehicle with the handbrake engaged is strictly prohibited). Failure to do so will cause excessive current draw during operation, leading to motor overheating and potentially resulting in severe motor damage or complete failure.

5. If the operator has inserted the key, engaged the main power switch, selected a direction (forward or reverse), and depressed the accelerator pedal - yet the vehicle fails to start - they should immediately switch off the direction selector and turn off the ignition key. After a brief pause, turn the key back on and re-select the direction to start the vehicle. In such situations, *never* abruptly or forcefully stomp on the accelerator pedal, as this could lead to unexpected hazards.

6. Before leaving the vehicle, the operator must engage the handbrake (parking brake), switch off the main power disconnect, turn off the ignition key, and remove the key from the ignition lock. Only after completing these steps may the operator leave the vehicle.
