1. Before driving, check to ensure that all components are in normal condition, that all indicators on the dashboard are functioning correctly, and that the battery charge level is sufficient.
2. Verify the vehicle's starting, running, and braking performance.
3. Check that the lights and horn signals are functioning properly; safety is paramount, so the horn, headlights, turn signals, steering mechanism, and brakes must be responsive and reliable.
4. Check the electrolyte level in the vehicle's battery and replenish it promptly if necessary.
5. Inspect all parts of the vehicle for any signs of oil or fluid leakage, and replace seals immediately if leaks are detected.
6. In addition to the checks listed above, the electric tow tractor's electrical circuits must also be inspected in accordance with the specific inspection guidelines for battery-powered vehicles.
(II) Precautions for Starting and Driving Electric Tow Tractors
1. Before driving, scan the surroundings for pedestrians or obstacles, and sound the horn before setting off.
2. When starting the vehicle, the driver must accelerate slowly and smoothly.
3. While driving, remain alert to the movements of other vehicles and pedestrians; when turning - especially if people or vehicles are nearby - signal your intentions. At intersections, follow the "slow down, look both ways, then proceed" rule. Sharp turns at high speeds are strictly prohibited. When making a U-turn or reversing, pay close attention to oncoming traffic, pedestrians, and your immediate surroundings, and execute the maneuver at a slow speed.
