Based on their method of movement, they can be categorized into: fixed lifting platforms, mobile lifting platforms, hydraulic lifting platforms, articulated boom lifting platforms, sleeve-cylinder lifting platforms, and others.
1. Fixed-Type Platforms
These are cargo-lifting devices characterized by excellent lifting stability and a wide range of applications. They are primarily used for transporting goods between different height levels on production lines; loading and unloading materials; adjusting workpiece heights during assembly; feeding materials to high-level feeders; lifting components during the installation of large-scale equipment; loading and unloading materials on large machine tools; and facilitating the rapid loading and unloading of goods in warehouses and logistics centers in conjunction with forklifts and other handling vehicles. Depending on specific operational requirements, various auxiliary devices can be configured and combined - such as safety protection systems, electrical control methods, work platform designs, and power sources. The precise selection of these various configurations allows for the maximization of the lifting platform's functionality, thereby achieving optimal operational results.
Optional configurations for fixed lifting platforms include manual hydraulic power systems; movable flip-up plates to facilitate seamless interfacing with surrounding equipment; gravity-fed or motorized roller conveyors; safety contact strips to prevent foot entrapment; accordion-style safety bellows; manually or electrically rotatable worktables; hydraulically tilting worktables; safety support bars to prevent accidental descent; stainless steel safety guard nets; electric or hydraulic drive systems for platform movement; and universal ball-transfer table surfaces.
Based on structural design, fixed lifting platforms can be further subdivided into single-scissor fixed platforms and double-scissor fixed platforms. The double-scissor design is specifically capable of meeting customer requirements for platforms that are both elongated and capable of handling heavy loads.
2. Vehicle-Mounted Platforms
Vehicle-mounted lifting platforms are designed to enhance mobility; the lifting mechanism is securely mounted onto a battery-powered transport cart or a truck. These units utilize the vehicle's engine power to actuate the lifting mechanism, thereby enabling high-altitude operations both within and outside factory premises. They are widely utilized for aerial work tasks in various settings, including hotels, office buildings, airports, train stations, sports stadiums, workshops, and warehouses. Additionally, they can serve as temporary platforms for high-altitude lighting, advertising displays, and similar applications.
3. Hydraulic Type
Hydraulic lift platforms are widely applicable across various industrial enterprises and production lines - including automotive manufacturing, container handling, mold making, wood processing, and chemical filling operations - to meet lifting requirements at diverse working heights. Furthermore, they can be equipped with various platform configurations and control methods. Characterized by smooth and precise lifting, suitability for frequent starts, and high load-bearing capacity, these platforms effectively resolve complex lifting challenges within industrial settings, making production operations effortless and efficient. The scissor-lift structural design ensures superior stability during ascent; combined with a spacious work platform and substantial load capacity, it expands the scope of high-altitude operations and accommodates multiple workers simultaneously. This design renders high-altitude work both more efficient and safer!
4. Articulated Boom Type
Articulated boom aerial work platforms are capable of outreach operations, allowing them to clear specific obstacles or perform multi-point tasks from a single stationary position. The platform features a high load capacity, accommodating two or more workers simultaneously while carrying necessary equipment. It offers a full 360° rotation capability, providing a substantial working radius. The lift platform boasts excellent mobility, facilitating easy relocation between work sites. With its aesthetically pleasing design, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor operations and storage. Power options currently include diesel engines, dual diesel-electric systems, and pure battery-electric drives, making them suitable for a wide range of applications such as stations, docks, shopping malls, sports venues, residential property management, and factory workshops.
5. Telescopic Cylinder Type
The telescopic cylinder hydraulic lift platform utilizes a multi-stage hydraulic cylinder system for vertical ascent. Constructed from high-strength materials with superior mechanical properties - and featuring a tower-like, ladder-style guardrail structure - the platform offers exceptional stability. Even at an altitude of 30 meters, users can experience its outstanding operational steadiness. Applicable settings include factories, hotels, office buildings, shopping malls, stations, airports, and sports stadiums. Its primary applications involve the installation and maintenance of power lines, lighting fixtures, and overhead piping, as well as high-altitude cleaning and other tasks requiring a single operator at elevated heights.
6. Fully Electric Type
The fully electric aerial work platform utilizes battery power to control both driving and lifting functions. It operates without the need for outriggers (support legs), ensuring high operational efficiency and enabling a single operator to perform tasks with ease. Suitable for high-altitude work environments characterized by confined workspaces and frequent movement.
