Overcharging causes excessive battery heat, electrolyte decomposition, wasted energy, and a shortened battery lifespan. Undercharging results in insufficient power, damages the battery plates, and negatively impacts the battery's overall service life.
3. When charging the battery under normal conditions, it is best to keep the battery cover open to ensure proper ventilation.
4. During operation, periodically check the electrolyte level to ensure it is sufficient; insufficient electrolyte can lead to battery damage.
5. During daily use, avoid deep discharging the electric pallet truck's battery - specifically, do not allow the charge level to drop below 20%. Doing so will significantly shorten the battery's lifespan and reduce the total number of charge-discharge cycles it can endure.
6. When connecting or disconnecting terminals during charging or discharging, wear rubber gloves to prevent electric shock.
7. When cleaning dust from the battery, use a damp cloth rather than a dry one to prevent the buildup of static electricity. Severe static discharge can potentially cause the battery to explode.
8. Batteries are clearly marked with positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. When connecting cables - which are also typically marked - strictly follow the instructions provided; do not attempt to connect them blindly, as this can result in battery damage.
9. The liquid contained within the battery is corrosive. Under no circumstances should you allow this liquid to spill onto your body or come into contact with your skin. If contact does occur, immediately rinse the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical attention without delay.
